Meet the team

Lee is the Director and Founder of Sholl Street Finance. He created the business after leading Teams of Bankers and Brokers during a 20 year Leadership career in Finance. During that time, he helped many clients through coaching and developing staff yet there was something missing! It was the desire to want to help people and be part of their journey that was missing. Lee therefore, decided to create his own boutique brokerage working locally within Perth’s South Metro area and helping people within his community with their home loans, car loans and business lending. He has a passion for helping and explaining things to people in a way that avoids jargon and makes sense.

Lee’s experience in Finance comes from a wide variety of backgrounds. Originally from the UK, he started his finance career working in the Insurance industry before beginning a banking career at Westpac. It was here that he developed a passion for helping clients with home ownership. In 2008 Lee began his Finance Broking career and has enjoyed being able to offer an independent view of the market to his clients ever since. Whether its residential lending, investment properties, car loans or more complex lending solutions required for business purposes, the best thing about broking compared to banking is being able to offer a solution that fits your needs as the client.

Outside of work, Lee has a passion for all things sport. He still thinks he can play football and now thinks the same about golf! He is also Treasurer at the local football club Rockingham City where he uses his finance experience to keep the clubs finances in a healthy state.

I’m excited to share a bit about myself and my journey here at Sholl Street Finance. I’ve been part of this amazing team since the early days, and it’s been incredible to watch the company grow and evolve. Recently, I achieved a big milestone in my career by officially qualifying as a broker—a goal I’ve worked hard to accomplish and one that fuels my passion for what I do.

Being here from the start has given me a deep appreciation for our values and mission. Helping people navigate the often-complex world of finance is what drives me every day. I love working closely with clients to ensure they feel supported and empowered to achieve their financial goals. I strive to bring a personal touch to every interaction, making sure everyone feels heard and confident in their decisions.

When I’m not diving into the world of finance, you’ll probably find me enjoying my favourite sports. I’m a big fan of football and golf—whether I’m cheering on my team or playing a round on the course, sports have taught me the value of teamwork and determination, qualities I carry into my work.

Charlotte has recently started in finance with a focus on operations and logistics. She is enthusiastic about learning and contributing to improving efficiency, and gaining hands-on experience. Charlotte's contribution to the business enhances customer satisfaction through the increased efficiency, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for clients throughout every step of the process.

As a Mandurah local, Charlotte was born and raised here and enjoys everything the community has to offer. In Charlotte's downtime, you’ll often find her following the AFL and cheering on her favourite team or down the beach, taking in the  sun.
